Adventures in Europe. Part 2: Prague.

Oh Prague...I don`t think that I can find suitable words that to describe you in all colors...You are the special city that forces heart to fade. When I saw you at first, I felt something inexpressible in my heart. It seemed like I met the old acquaintance- very kind and warm, to see which is very nice and pleasant.
This city is wonderful. Orange-red roofs, bridges, ancient buildings-all this admires to a shiver. And let Velizar says that all European cities are similar among themselves, Prague isn`t similar to any city. You are convinced of it when you will come here. Romantic atmosphere that causes only one feeling in you: love. Not such crackheaded and mad love as I feel in Amsterdam, but soft, gentle and light. I wanted only one in Prague: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. And it seems to me that it`s wrong to consider the love city only Paris. Amsterdam and Prague deserve to have this name too. It`s enough to look at the Prague bridges over the river Vltava- and you lose your mind. And city is so beautiful in the evening...I couldn`t understand: or the air is so special in Prague, or people...but I wanted to fly!

We went to Prague from Austria 4 hours by bus. Sure I was delighted because the wonderful nature floated behind the window. I adore woods, mountains and fields and I don`t understand people who can`t make out a special beauty in all this. Velizar played a game on his phone almost all way, and I listened to quiet music on ipod and enjoyed beautiful views. I was overflowed by emotions. Damn, I always have too many emotions in new places! I will tell about Austria later and now-only Czech Republic, only Prague...

City is amazing. Absolutely amazing. Very-very beautiful. Streets are very original: they go from top to down. Roads are paved by stone almost everywhere, I like it very much. Nice houses, great architecture-much more beautiful than in St. Petersburg. The only thing that I didn`t like-texts and words on the walls. We met them almost on the all buildings. I think it is not right because this is a small vandalism. And my Czech friend Daniel told us that it`s a problem here. The government tries to fight with those who paints walls, but it isn't enough results still.

Daniel. We communicated with him on-line during 2,5 years. Got acquainted on facebook, then talked on skype. He is very lovely and kind guy, polite, gallant, quiet and nice. I was very happy to meet him. I have a lot of friends everywhere and it is so great that I have the opportunity to see some my friends in person! When we drove up to Prague I worried before the meeting with Daniel, though I knew that I won`t be disappointed :) And I wasn`t!

We took a room in the hotel with Velizar. And it was a very funny story :) I don`t know why but somebody or something obviously didn`t want that we went to Prague. A day before my friend had problems with his credit card: he couldn`t take money from it. Then I had a high temperature at night because we spent the whole day in the pool before going to Prague, my skin became red and I had a heat. Thanks goodness, I took a good medicine and felt great in the morning.

Then we couldn`t find our bus by which we had to go to Prague. But found it finally...uuuufff!

A road was very good, without any problems. Daniel met us and we went to the hotel. And only in the hotel I understood that I am very-very stupid.

I FORGOT MY PASSPORT IN AUSTRIA!!!!!!!

Well, how could I remember about it if I had a visa Schengen, with which I could go almost in any european country? When I was in Netherlands in november and went to Belgium, I didn`t take my passport there but I didn`t take the room in hotel too...And of course, it is necessary to have a passport when you want to spend the night somewhere...

I didn`t know what to do. Daniel and Velizar didn`t know it too. I thought already how will be crazy to sleep on the street...Prague is awesome city but I wanted to sleep in the bed...

Fortunately, a guy who worked in the hotel understood my problem and allowed us to take the room but notified that if the police will check this hotel, I should run away! We had a roof near our room therefore I didn`t think that to hide from the police would be difficult. But it was so good that nobody checked the hotel that night)))

Having left our bags in the room we went to walk around Prague. Oh... This city is absolutely wonderful and surprising...

Czech language is so nice! It seems a little bit to russian but also differs very much. We saw many signs with Russian phrases what was very cheerful: looked like I am in Russia already :) Some waiters spoke Russian at restaurants. I love listening to accent of foreigners when they speak our language. It sounds so lovely and cute :)

Prague is much cheaper than Austria and Holland. Maybe it`s so because Chechs don`t earn so much money as Austrians and Dutches do. Taxes aren`t big  because of this too.

Velizar says that many European cities have the same bridges through the river, houses with similar architecture and narrow streets paved by stone. I don`t know why but I absolutely didn`t feel that Prague is similar to any city...River, bridges, old houses...But all this was another. Unique, special.

And Prague is very green. So many beautiful parks where people can have a rest. Some people even sleep on the grass like in Amsterdam. And not only sleep.

The nature in Prague isn`t similar to St. Petersburg`s nature. Russian trees aren`t bright-green, they look like gray and green. And the violent green foliage was pleasing to eyes in Prague. Equal lawns, fresh air, beautiful bushes and a lot of lonely places. I love it sooo much. I think a nature has to be in any city, even in huge cities because it is very important for people. If we will always drive by our cars, to get stuck in traffic jams, to listen to noise of engines and to look at high-rise buildings, we will lose our souls. The person`s soul reveals outdoors only on the nature, where nothing hinders to learn this world fully.

Prague is not a big city. It is possible to reach to the place which is necessary to you by tram very quickly. Prague trams are very comfortable and modern. Very new.

Red roofs look specially cool when you look at them from the height. I thought that I am in some fairy tale or in other time.  I looked at all this beauty and thought that would be awesome to take a walk in these roofs. I already did it in St. Petersburg and liked it very much, though I am afraid of height. Especially, when we were in huge tower and looked at the whole city. I was afraid to look down, my knees shivered, my hands shivered too. Prague looked fantastically but unfortunately I couldn`t enjoy those views because of my fear. We took amazing photos but when you see it in real life, you have the best emotions and no one photo will never show what people really feel.

City from the fairy tale. Look! I don`t know what shall be in person`s head if he doesn`t like Prague. In my opinion, everybody has to like Prague. When my friends who went to Czech Republic told me about its capital, I was surprised: is Prague so wonderful city that all tourists admire it? I was sure that people exaggerate. But no...I had the same feelings from meeting with Prague and sometimes I think that my feelings were even bigger! It is the city where feet will hurt because you need to bypass all interesting places. The city where you will easily gain a couple of extra kilos because the food is veeeeery tasty! The city where you will buy something all the time because all stuff is so bright and attracting. And at the same time, Prague is a city with which you fall in love without memory and come there again and again: with comfortable shoes, big appetite and spare suitcase.

I know people who love Czech capital very much and visit it very often. I am sure I`ll be the same person. I fell in love with Prague at the first side.

If you will come there, eat this meal. I even can`t utter its "name" cus its very difficult. But this meal is very yummy especially with cinnamon. I swallowed it in a couple of minutes and regret that didn`t eat more.
Daniel is a very cool guy! He showed us the most beautiful and famous places in Prague. We were on the tower and in parks, and looked at very nice castles. I am surprised that people built such improbable beauty. When I looked at those churches and castles I couldn`t believe that they were created by people. Not only nature admires me but a beautiful architecture too. It is awesome that people with so big talent lived on our planet and created great buildings.

I think you all watched a cartoon about funny mole and his amusing adventures? This is a Czech cartoon. I absolutely forgot it. But when I saw toys in the form of that mole everywhere in Prague, I`ve recalled.
We bypassed everything what was possible to bypass. My feet hurted a little bit in the evening. I needed to meet my other friend from the internet-Prokop.

Some funny events are connected with this name. First, we lived in the hotel "Prokopka". Secondly, we have noticed a restaurant "Prokopka" near the hotel. And thirdly, there was a Prokop`s street nearby! Daniel and Velizar had so much fun when I told them that my friend is Prokop too! While we walked around Prague we always tried to find something with this name.

We decided to meet with Prokop in pab. Before this Daniel`s friends joined us: Andrew (he is Czech but his name is very similar on our russian name) and Anton. Anton was from Moscow. He lives and studies in Prague. He didn`t know that I am from Russia and Velizar speaks russian too and when Anton greeted us in english, we answered in russian. He was surprised but glad. They started communicating with Velizar and found a common language.

And I wanted to see Prokop very much because he is quite interesting person. He is tolerant and I love it in people very much. I wanted to communicate in english, I enjoy this language!

Prokop came to pab and appeared so nice person as on the internet :)
All my foreign friends are so awesome people! I don`t know why, maybe because they are not russian? I like all of them cus I always feel great with them.
We sat in the pab, then went to the bar. Daniel and Andrew went to their camping and we were four together: me, Velizar, Prokop and Anton. We wanted to have fun and a good time! I can`t drink cus I become drunk very quickly and in that bar I drank something and then felt like in the space in 15 minutes I guess. And we wanted to drink a red wine in our hotel with Velizar-to celebrate our arrival to Prague. Too much alcohol...

Prague was a little bit scary at night. A tram was filled by very strange people: black and Asian. They looked quite harmless but never know what can happen in new city.

But that area where we lived was much more terrible. Crowds of muslims, some drunk Blacks...Then we met a very strange Japanese who went, without sorting the road, and looked in emptiness like an addict...All this looked very terribly, we were lucky that we found our hotel quickly.

A room in the hotel was very nice: a huge bed, tv, much space. We bought cheese, ham, Czech chocolate, uncorked a bottle of wine and started celebrating our trip in Prague.

Wine was either too good, or too bad. I became drunk after two glasses.

The room was turned, span, flew. I fell to bed and said I am flying. Probably, Velizar was shocked. The only thing that I started understanding: my skin was burned on the sun and started hurting in the evening! I even couldn`t use a blanket! Damning everything, I took cover somehow and failed in dreams. Poor Velizar was forbidden even to lie close to me because my shoulders, belly, chest, legs and arms hurt too much!

The next day we spent with Daniel. Walked on the center of Prague and enjoyed the hot Sunday. Tourists....tourists everywhere! I love it very much. We wanted to see a famous clock with puppets on Vatslavskaya Square. Perhaps, you heard about them. You can watch the video.

I can`t find words which can describe Prague. It is an amazing city. It is filled by very nice people and adorable places.

1,5 days ain`t enough for such cool city as Prague. I will go back there and not one time. I admire Prague, I miss it very much, this place is special. And very-very romantic...I felt that I wanna love everybody there! It is necessary to fall in love with Prague...

P.S. But there is one more minus, guys! Haha it is even worse than painted walls of houses!

The web was weaved on EACH lamp and MANY spiders hanged down from it!!!!!!!!!! I didn't begin to photograph this horror because I even couldn`t look at those awful spiders. So, Prague is not only the city of tasty food, moles, puppets and beautiful buildings-it is also the city of SPIDERS!!! :D
